How does the refer-a-friend scheme work? By registering for the refer-a-friend scheme, you can give your friends a reward which is a discount off their first order at The Body Shop website. When your friend makes their first order online, you’ll receive an email giving you a reward for your next order online. It’s a win-win!

How do I start referring friends? After registering you’ll be given the option to share your personalised link with friends by email, Facebook, Facebook messenger, Whatsapp or you can copy and paste the link. Our refer-a-friend programme also allows you to share this offer with your friends by word of mouth, using just your name to claim their reward. Simply tell your friends to enter your name that you used to register when prompted on the shopping cart page.

To get their reward, your friend needs to register after they have clicked on your personalised link or entered your registered name when prompted on the checkout page. After registering, they will receive their unique promotion code by email. To redeem the discount, the code should be entered into the promotion code box on the checkout page.

I’ve been referred by a friend. How do I get my reward? When the friend you referred makes their first order online, you’ll receive an email with your reward, as long as your friend makes the order using the personalised link or enters your name as you’ve registered.

I referred a friend and they are being shown as “not eligible”, why is that? To be eligible for the reward, your friend must be a new customer. If your friend has shopped with us before online, they will not be eligible for the reward.

How many people can I refer to The Body Shop? You can refer as many people as you like.

I’ve been referred by a friend. How do I get my reward? Great! If your friend sent you a link, you need to click on that link to register for the reward. Alternatively, you can enter your friend’s name on the checkout page by clicking “Been referred by a friend?” underneath the promotion code box. Make sure that you check with your friend to ensure you’ve used the right name as registered, so we can find them. After registering for the reward, you will receive a unique promotion code to your registered email address. Simply enter this code into the promotion code box on the checkout page to get your discount. To be eligible for the reward, you must be a new customer, shopping on our website for the first time.

I’ve been referred by a friend by word of mouth and they said I need to mention their name so I can claim my reward. Where do I do this? When you’ve chosen your favourite products, you’ll need to go to the checkout page. Before you submit payment, make sure that you enter your friend’s name by clicking on “Been referred by a friend?” underneath the promotion code box. When you enter your friend’s name, you’ll be able to register for your reward which will be sent by email. Make sure that you check with your friend to ensure you’ve used the right name as registered, so we can find and confirm the referral.
